Silence is Compliance...

Do the ends justify the means or do the means justify the ends?  An age-old question, the stuff of philosophy debates of any culture. I’ve personally come to the conclusion that the means justify the ends. It’s not merely important that an objective is met.  Even if one believes the objective or ideology is debatably for the greater good, there are many acts that can be characterized as clearly doing harm, inflicted upon a range anywhere from an individual to a society. Take your pick: Hate breeds hate.  Bigotry breeds bigotry.  Injustice breeds injustice.  Incompetence breeds incompetence.  Evil breeds evil. Any evil (or any aforementioned) act, not met with equal or greater opposition will inevitably propagate like a cancer. That being said, we must acknowledge that in a practical sense, the world is not black and white.  The idea to be able to commit to an objective, perfectly exact justice flawlessly, without failure, harm or collateral damage along the way is the work of fantasy and comic books.  Nonetheless, whenever an evil act is committed and hate is brought forth, harm is done, justice inevitably fails and innocents suffer, society must strive to make amends and make right what went wrong, call out the evil for what it is, less the cancer breed. In other words, SILENCE IS COMPLIANCE.

Self explanatory...
